In having some time available, during the second year of my undergraduate degree, I got the opportunity to work part-time as a wireless internet sales consultant, at Telkom.
After completing training in-store, I was responsible for visiting customers' homes, on appointment, setting up a wireless internet connections, and submitting paperwork for new contracts.
Having worked for Telkom for a year, I moved on to becoming a tutor at the university, and through TeachMe2. I learned a lot from sales, but found that teaching was a more fulfilling occupation, for me.
